　　The Department of Stomatology of Beijing Tiantan Hospital has a professional treatment team, advanced examination, treatment equipment, perfect sterilization facilities, a warm and comfortable treatment environment, and considerate medical services. It has conducted treatment programs for children's oral cavities, endodontics, periodontics, oral mucosal disease, restoration, alveolar surgery, orthodontics, implantation, etc. It focuses on advocating interdisciplinary collaboration and providing one-station, comfortable, and individualized general dental treatment services.

　　The department's medical team is strong, with 24 employees, including 1 chief physicians, 8 deputy chief physicians, 1 doctor’s supervisor, 15 technicians and nurses. There are 16 Ph.D. dentists, 8 masters, 3 post-doctoral students, 2 staffs with doctoral equivalent degree,and 2 doctoral candidates. The team has rich clinical experience and advanced treatment concepts and technologies.

　　The department has domestic and international first-class treatment equipment, including digital dental comprehensive treatment tables, digital imaging system and cone beam CT, CAD/CAM (computer-aided design/computer-aided production) chairside restoration system, digital optical impression collection system, digital electronic facial arch, T-Scan occlusal force analysis system, 3D printing system, Zeiss surgical microscope, etc.

　　To better serve patients, the team carries out the special medical service that leads the new era trend - "digital dental treatment technology." At the same time, with the assistance of high-tech equipment, the team carries out the characteristic digital restoration, digital navigated dental implant surgery, bracketless invisible orthodontics, diagnosis, and treatment of obstructive sleep apnea syndrome, as well as complex treatment techniques such as micro root canal treatment, minimally invasive extraction, minimally invasive aesthetic restoration, occlusal reconstruction, cold light whitening, bone augmentation, and membrane gum surgery.

　　Beijing Tiantan Hospital is a national research center for neurological diseases. The department relies on the platform's support to research neurological and oral diseases. It mainly conducts basic and clinical research on stroke, cerebrovascular diseases, cognitive disorders, periodontal diseases, and occlusal disorders. The department has been awarded one National Natural Science Foundation of China, two Young Scientist Funds, one Municipal "Young Scientist" Program, two University Natural Science Funds, and one Institute Fund. The department undertakes dentistry's teaching and clinical practice in clinical medicine, pharmacy, and nursing departments at Capital Medical University.

　　Hao Wang, a chief physician, graduated from Capital Medical University and received his doctorate in dentistry. He had post-doctoral and visiting scholar training at the National Institutes of Health, the top research institution in the United States. He engaged in oral and maxillofacial surgery consultation and teaching for nearly 30 years. He specializes in oral and maxillofacial trauma, malformation, temporomandibular joint disease, and salivary gland disease diagnosis and treatment and research work. He is a member of the Oral General Surgery Committee of the Chinese Oral Medical Association, a member of the Orthognathic Group of the Maxillofacial Surgery Committee of the Chinese Oral Medical Association, a deputy director of the Interdisciplinary Committee of the Chinese Association for the Promotion of Anti-Aging, a director of the Beijing Oral Medical Association, a deputy director of the Beijing Digital Oral Medicine Committee, and a member of the Implant Committee of the Beijing Oral Medical Association.
