Dr. Xu is a M.D, Ph.D, chief physician, professor and director for GI Department of Beijing Tiantan Hospital affliated to Capital Medical University.

Dr. Xu received clinical training in Tohuko University, Sendai, Japan, from 1999 to 2000, and postdoctoral clinical training in Department of Medicine, Mount Sinai School of Medicine, New York University.

Dr. Xu is specialized in GI diseases, gastroscopic and colonoscopic diagnosis and treatment, EUS diagnosis, abdominal ultrasonic diagnosis and interventional treatment and TACE treatment of liver cancer.

Dr. Xu is the youth member of Chinese Association of Gastrointestinal Disease, secretary of Chinese Association of Liver Disease. He has published 17 papers in national and international journals.
