On the morning of December 20, 2023, the Minister of Health of the Russian Federation visited the Beijing Tiantan Hospital, Capital Medical University. The delegation of the Minister of Health of the Russian Federation consisted of the Minister of Health of the Russian Federation, the Assistant Minister of Health of the Russian Federation, the Director of the Department of International Cooperation and Public Relations of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, the Counselor of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Beijing, and the First Secretary of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Beijing. The visit mainly focused on telemedicine and AI medical situation of the hospital.

The meeting was chaired by Wang Jia, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the hospital. Prof. Jia Wang warmly welcomed the visit of the Minister of Health of the Russian Federation and introduced the hospital as well as its medical and scientific research work to the Minister of Health and his entourage.

Prof. Tianhua Ren, Director of International Medical Department, made a report on the Internet telemedicine and introduced in detail the specific situation of Internet telemedicine helping the development of the Medical Alliance for Beijing Tiantan Neurological Disease. Mr. Bo Bai, Deputy Director of Information Management and Data Center, introduced the intelligent hospital and AI medical care by showing the "Tiantan Brain" hospital intelligent integration platform, intelligent operation and management platform, and intelligent logistics data decision center.

After the meeting, the Minister of Health of the Russian Federation and his delegation visited the China National Clinical Research Center for Neurological Diseases, the National Center for Healthcare Quality Management in Neurological Diseases, the Research Center of Artificial Intelligence for Neurological Diseases and the Internet Hospital. Deputy Secretary, Wang Jia, President Assistant, Zixiao Li, and Mr. Wanxing Ye gave a vivid and detailed introduction to the Minister of Health and his delegation about the construction and development of the Artificial Intelligence Research Center for Neurological Diseases and Internet Hospital.

The Minister of Health of the Russian Federation fully affirmed the visit and expressed his hope to establish cooperation in medical perspectives between Russian medical institutions and Beijing Tiantan Hospital.
